Hotel is located alongside one of the medieval
gates, within the city walls. A very well looked
after hotel in the center of Rothenburg, which has
all the historical features you'd expect from a
traditional hotel. It can be found in a
quiet side street, close to the market square. Due
to the age of the hotel, the bedrooms vary in size
and shape, though on average they are medium
sized. Some are furnished in a more country
cottage style with dark wooden beds, decorated
with hand painted flower designs, and others are
furnished with antiques, depicting the medieval
style of the hotel. All the rooms are in
exceptional condition as are the bathrooms.
The restaurants provide the guests with a variety
of atmosphere and style, ranging from the more
sophisticated with beautiful murals of local
history all around the walls, to the more relaxed
'Bierkeller' style, with carved wooden tables and
chairs and subdued lighting.
